Please see below for the list of each and choose which one best fits you.

  • Children's sunday school

Children begin to form their worldview as early as pre-school. That is why in our Children’s Sunday school we have chosen to use a curriculum that takes a child through the whole Bible in 3 years. Each Bible story comes back to the person and work of Jesus Christ. Our purpose of Children’s Sunday school is to start developing a Christian worldview by knowing the Christ of the Bible and His work on the cross and in our lives.

“Train up a child in a way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

  • set apart Youth

Set Apart youth ministry (4th-12th); is to do just as the Scripture states in 1 Peter 3:15; “but set apart Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who ask you to give an account for the hope that is in you, with gentleness and respect.” We meet to continually discover who God is, and who we are, according to the SCRIPTURE, not man or religion, and how we are to live out the mandate of being like our savior JESUS CHRIST. This is done through the power of the Holy Spirit, who teaches us scripture , reminds us of scripture, and will guide you into all Truth! This will enable the teens to develop a Biblical world view that can carry with them into adult life. John 14:26,16:13.

  • Young adults

Young Adults Ministry is for the college and career aged members to gather together and study Gods word. We function similar to a life group with our age group that fellowship with one another, prayer, and growing together with life’s ups and downs.

  • Adults

Adult ministry seeks to provide opportunities for our members and for the community we serve to grow in faith, to find their place of mission, and to build community. Through engagement with Scripture, theological reflection, communal discernment, exploring our variety of gifts, spending time in prayer and meditation, and developing spiritual friendships, we seek to transform ourselves and our communities with the love of God.

Below are links to the different adults groups we have here at Abundant Hope Baptist Church.

    Life Groups

  • senior adults

Senior Saints, those called by Jesus to walk with Him through this stage of their life. What does it look like for a senior as we interact with brothers and sisters in the body of Christ? As we gather together, we seek to grow by spending time devoted to His Word. We are also devoted to having fellowship with each another as with the father and his son Jesus Christ. We also spend time in corporate prayer. As We seek to develop these three vital experiences seniors will see their place in the functioning body.

  • worship

The Worship Ministry of Abundant Hope Baptist Church currently consists of musicians and the audio-visual (A/V) team. Our goal as worship leaders is to set an atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to soften hearts and promote the opportunity to enter authentic worship of our creator. We were created by God to bring Him glory, and our Sunday morning meetings are an opportunity to come together in unified praise. At times, we have difficult weeks that cloud our minds with stress and anxiety, but when the AHBC Worship Team opens our Sunday morning meetings with intentional desperation for our Savior to empty us of ourselves and fill us with the Holy Spirit, the hope is to clear hearts and minds for true worship.

Musical talent is secondary to spiritual maturity when it comes to our worship leaders on stage. We are not interested in self-glorification, only the glorification of Christ. Members of the Worship Team have been members of the church family for long enough to establish themselves as loving leaders among the congregation.

They are an example of true worship, therefore must be spiritually mature and an upstanding member of the AHBC family.

“Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.” – Psalm 103:1
